3 "Labors of Love" -- Jain gets to know the castle and its strange inhabitants.
4 "The Caged Heart" -- Jain gives birth to beautiful green baby boy, and learns more about the grim castle resident Iron Henry.
5 "Cavalier" -- A stranger named Chess arrives at the castle, and we learn more about Jain's childhood.
6 "City Mouse, Country Mouse" Part I -- Rackham and Chess go to the city for supplies, while Jain and Dinah discover an exotic oriental spice.
7 City Mouse, Country Mouse Part II -- Rackham and Chess encounter some trouble on their way back to the castle.

Hiatus Issue Linda announces that Castle Waiting is suspending production for one year. She details plans for the story's future, though, and includes the short story that inspired her to start the whole thing. Cover by Mark Crilley.
